Welcome to Madé Lestari Wellness and Beauty (“Madé Lestari”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, services, online booking systems, gift vouchers, treatment packages, and appointments.
By making a booking, purchasing a treatment, package, or voucher, or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms are intended to comply with the requirements of Jersey law, including the Consumer Protection (Unfair Practices) (Jersey) Law 2018 and applicable consumer protection principles relating to fairness, transparency, and reasonable care and skill.

2. Appointments & Bookings
Appointments may be booked:

online;
-
by telephone;
-
in person; or
-
through approved booking platforms.
All appointments are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to decline bookings where:
-
treatment is unsuitable;
-
consultation requirements are not met;
-
inappropriate behaviour has occurred previously; or
-
health or safety concerns arise.
3. Deposits & Advance Payments
Certain treatments, longer appointments, packages, or promotional bookings may require a deposit or full advance payment at the time of booking.
Any deposit requirements will always be clearly explained before payment is taken.
Deposits are deducted from the final treatment price.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or changes.
More than 24 hours’ notice
Where sufficient notice is provided:
-
deposits may be transferred to a new appointment; or
-
refunds may be offered where appropriate.
Less than 24 hours’ notice
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in:
-
loss of deposit; or
-
a cancellation charge of up to 50% of the treatment value.
Same-day cancellations or non-attendance
Failure to attend an appointment without notice, or cancellations within 4 hours of the appointment time, may result in:
-
the full appointment fee becoming payable; or
-
deduction of the session from any prepaid package.
We apply this policy because appointment times are reserved exclusively and may be difficult to refill at short notice.
5. Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your treatment time may need to be reduced to avoid impacting subsequent appointments.
Where insufficient time remains to safely complete the treatment, the appointment may need to be rearranged and cancellation charges may apply.
6. Treatment Suitability & Health Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during consultation, including:

medical conditions;
-
allergies;
-
injuries;
-
pregnancy;
-
medications; and
-
any other relevant health information.
Failure to disclose relevant information may affect treatment suitability and results.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where:
-
treatment may be unsafe;
-
contraindications exist;
-
consultation requirements are not satisfied; or
-
inappropriate conduct occurs.
Where treatment cannot proceed safely following consultation, charges may be waived at our discretion.
7. Massage Treatments
Massage and wellness treatments are provided for relaxation and wellbeing purposes and are not intended as a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
Clients with medical concerns should seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before booking treatment.
8. Nail Treatments
Results and longevity of gel or polish treatments may vary depending on:

lifestyle;
-
aftercare;
-
nail condition; and
-
external factors beyond our control.
We cannot guarantee exact treatment longevity.
Clients are encouraged to follow aftercare guidance provided during appointments.
9. Waxing & Facial Treatments
Some treatments may cause temporary redness, irritation, or sensitivity depending on individual skin type and sensitivity.
Clients must inform us of:

skin conditions;
-
medications;
-
recent cosmetic procedures;
-
allergies; or
-
any relevant medical concerns.
We reserve the right to decline treatment where skin integrity or safety may be compromised.
10. Refund Policy
We do not normally offer refunds for:
-
completed treatments;
-
change of mind;
-
dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference where services have been provided with reasonable care and skill.
If you believe a service has not been carried out correctly, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment so we can assess the matter and, where appropriate, offer a reasonable remedy.
Nothing within these Terms affects your statutory rights under Jersey law.
11. Treatment Packages & Courses
Packages and treatment courses are:
-
non-transferable;
-
intended for use by the named client only; and
-
valid for the period specified at purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, packages should be used within 12 months of purchase.
Appointments booked as part of a package remain subject to our cancellation policy.
Late cancellations or non-attendance may result in that session being deducted from the package balance.
Where refunds are granted on partially used packages, treatments already redeemed may be recalculated at standard individual treatment prices rather than discounted package rates.
12. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers:
-
are non-refundable;
-
cannot be exchanged for cash;
-
are non-transferable unless stated otherwise;
-
must be redeemed before expiry.
Where treatment prices increase after voucher purchase, additional payment may be required.
Lost or expired vouchers may not be replaced.
13. Hotel Facilities
Where included with selected treatments or packages, access to hotel facilities may include:

changing facilities;
-
showers;
-
swimming pool;
-
gym;
-
sauna; and
-
steam room.
Facility access is subject to:
-
hotel operational availability;
-
hotel rules and policies; and
-
any health and safety restrictions imposed by the hotel.
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to hotel facilities at all times.
14. Client Conduct
We aim to maintain a calm, safe, and respectful environment for all clients and staff.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment or terminate appointments where behaviour is:

abusive;
-
inappropriate;
-
threatening;
-
discriminatory; or
-
sexually suggestive.
In such circumstances, refunds may not be provided.
15. Personal Belongings
Clients remain responsible for their personal belongings during appointments and visits.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal items unless caused by our negligence.
16. Website Content
All website content, branding, logos, images, text, and materials relating to Madé Lestari Wellness and Beauty remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.
17. Privacy & Data Protection
We process personal information in accordance with applicable Jersey data protection legislation and our Privacy Notice.

18. Changes to Services or Terms

19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Jersey.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Jersey courts.
